The show lasted for an hour. I'd expect 'em to play at least 3 new songs.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Seeing the Melvins in a small venue is totally awesome. It is pretty cool to see them in a huge place, however, because the sound systems are usually WAY better than the ones in the clubs they usually play.

Four hours of Melvins sounds good in my book...how about this though?

1 hours of Tool, 2 1/2 hours of the Fantomas, and then 4 hours of Melvins! Euphoria.

no way the melvins are way huger than tool!!! ( or at least in my head...)
and id prefer a solo gig that only a couple of hundered instead of thousand turned up to..i mean touring with tool is great for them.and im so g;ad they get to ..but when the tool fans get the front row for melvins..id prefer like a capacity 2000 place where you can see what buzzz is doign without a screen!
and how about for the perfect show we instead of wasting time with 1.5 hrs of tool we have 4 hrs of melvins!

It's just a pity that they are "letting" Tool come on after them? Please tell me that you are joking! The Melvins would never be able to play these huge shows if it weren't for bands like Tool who ask them to open for them. I think its good for them because they get more exposure.

If I had my choice though, I would give Tool 1 1/2 hours and give the Melvins 2 1/2. Not THAT would be a show.

AHH H im so exited about them touring...its just a pity there letting tool come on after them so they can't oncore etc etc...
