hey guys, just wondering whose going to be going to any of the tour stops with jucifer lining up with the melvins. that's going to kick ass. i just got jucifer's new cd and there's stuff in it for everyone. the sound these guys make is in a word, "dense"... and it's just two people. the chick's got some really cool lookin hardware too (a dean mach 5?) and the drummer is a total nut. hehe, i got to see these guys once and they were the loudest band there. not sure how they'll compare to the melvins live tho, never got a chance to see em but i guess it's about time :P thought i'd try to make you guys enjoy the tour more by bringing up the other band. www.mp3.com/jucifer has one of the mp3's... but there's a crapload of kickass tracks on the new cd. the grl's vocals are amazing, like she literally goes from extremely pretty angelic like vocals to that death metal grunt we're all familiar with :P. www.jucifer.com is the main site and they have a video and other mp3's on www.velocetterecords.com. but you guys should definately pick up the cd "I Name You Destroyer". if any of you are going to the new york sure, i might see ya there! tell me what you guys think! later!!

Well I saw Jucifer here in Atlanta on the 15th and again in Athens on the 22nd. Good stuff, loud stuff. Certainly interesting, and a much better suited opener than Bad Wizard. The new album is good, but their debut, Calling All Cars on the Vegas Strip, is much better in my opinion. Not that either of those records sounds much like their live show though... Check them out if you get the chance.

And oh.. Amber does play a Dean Mach 5.
