Most of the time when I hear the Melvins cover another band's song, that's the first time I have ever heard it (it's true...I have led a sheltered life). I have downloaded some of the original songs (Ballad of Dwight Fry, Green Manalishi, and a couple of others). But sometimes, I don't really know what is and what isn't a cover. I know 'Halo of Flies' is a cover, but who did the original? What else do they cover/have they covered live?
