I was expecting lunacy and that is what I saw. Especially from Fantomas, who, in my opinion, blew away Tool with energetic presentation. This was my first Fantomas show and I plan to see them whenever possible because they put on a powerful show.
They played plenty of great pages from their first album, I remember Page 14 (awesome), Page 1 and 2, and Page 29 (incredible). Another high-point of the show was Der Golem, it was great to see Buzz and Trevor headbang together on this classic. Simply Beautiful, Twin Peaks..., Spider Baby were played with excellence and the show ended with Experiment in Terror.
Extras: The arena venue sucked but Fantomas still made it fun. During their set they had some clowns on stage dancing and passing beer/whiskey to the members of Fantomas. There was also a reference to the movie Spinal Tap: a small stonehenge model was lowered from the ceiling! A laugh if you've seen the movie.
