Wow-what a spectacle, what a band, Kevin seemed as if he stumbled upon some ether before the show. I saw them last year and they got better, somehow...some drunkard was pleading for Buzzo's love and attention during anti-vermin seed. Good comedy and great rock and roll. Isis was too loud.

I must say that Isis was much more entertaining than last year when Folk Emplosion opened...
Buzzo's riffing gets more spectacular every time I see them. Kevin and Dale are gods as well. Glad to see Kevin picking up Noise detail now that Dave Stone isn't on tour with them anymore. I was sad though because my friend in Philly said they ended with an Alice Cooper cover "Halo of FLies" which I've seen them do before and it is incredible!!!! but we didn't get it... oh well show was still amazing and its the most dancing I've done all year so far.

was i the only list member who was at the Toad's Place New Haven show? (besides the 2 nerds i went with.)
toad's is teeny and they rocked it like a....melvin.
i was right up front, against the stage, i could have grabbed buzz's boot (but didn't)
i didn't realize how much i liked HAT until i heard it all live, it gave it a whole new meaning, as live shows always do.
i didn't get to talk to any melvins, but i did see Dale walk in with a pizza. it seems that he likes to ignore his fans before shows...i can understand. however, one of the only spots he could see out of his drums from was lined up perfectly with me and my fellow nerd friend and he made eyecontact with us several times, which was pretty cool and made the show a lot more personal.
there was a lot of moronic moshers there, some civilized ones, though. i appreciated the civilized ones. i think it's safe to say that most of the havoc was being wreaked by some dude walking around the crowd very strung out on something strong coupled with severe brain damage, and by two half-naked, manly, bisexual goth chicks who calmed down later on when they were being harassed by the aforementioned retard.
wow, long post, eh?
We actually live in New York, but the four of us made the pilgrimage to Connecticut because we couldn't get into the New York show because of bad fake Ids....i wasn't about to miss the fucking melvins. BUT!>> after being turned down from the NY show and then befriending a drugged-up security guard(the best kind), i asked him to bring out buzz and he just kinda laughed at me. ...but alas! to my surprise! five minutes later the backdoor opens and it's the security guard plus king buzzo! amazing! so all shook hands, talked for a bit, i asked if he could bring out his guitar and play an acoustic show for us and i think he just laughed. my friend touched his hair. the guard said that he brought buzz out because i had a home-made prick shirt on...all-in-all, it was just very nice that buzz came out to see us because we couldn't get in.
anyway, if anybody else was at the toad's place show, i had a bandana on my head, and a white, homemade prick shirt with the album design on the front and "Where lawriders go masked", plus two little cowboy hats on the back.
That's all this time.
NO wait! they sold melvins ribcage shirts, melvins fetus shirts, melvins HAT shirts, and melvins fetus girls tanktops (i wonder if it was necessary to write melvins every time) along with the trilogy, gluey re-issue ummm colosus, uuhh altamont....ummm i don't know, plus a ton of isis garbage. (isis was okay. their on-stage antics are pretty fun, but slightly repetitive (in a bad way))

my name is rebecca. i was at the toads place show. how awesome was it? I was there with three of my retard friends and we had the best time ever. I heard condor was going to make an appearance but we were duped as one member of condor was not "feeling the vibe" and i didnt see him.
It pissed me off that isis took their fucking sweet time to get onstage. yes. an hour and a half. during this time however i met a girl who was intent on being crovers loveslave. which amused me because i saw him a couple of times and she missed him - only being left to pine for his speedo and creeepy looks.
in more going abouts kevin was extra handicapped. did you notice? he did the swervy hip dance the entire time and played his bass into the floor. buzz went wild with his tongue which left me titialated to say the least. being one of the only females who was not a bisexual goth chick -as aforementioned. the retard was annoying.
a fool.
his down syndromme act got annoying as i was taking pictures and trying to change film. [pictures to be posted - developement speed and scanner capability allowing - i promise these pictures will be good. very good. seeing as i was against the stage and used the closest focus to capture buzz in crooning stage.
anywho i was wearing a sweatshirt with a nurse on it with her legs spread that said : fuck.
dripping pussy much.
i bought a burn baby burn shirt.
nifty burning fetus.
