Even the fact that I just had appendicitis and only got out of the hospital yesterday can't stop me from going to this show! It's too bad I won't be able to get in the crowd or anything, sitting at a Melvins show will feel wrong but it's better than nothing! Any ideas about who's opening? Have they had openers in other towns on this tour?

Yes, I've noticed that too, although it took me a while to realize why the part in Youth of America sounded so familiar.

I was just about to ask if Dale was involved, but then I read that link and it turns out he's playing bass for the Mangled Demos set. This sounds pretty cool, I hope somebody tapes the show and puts it on youtube or something.

Dale is only on the last Porn album, right?

I'm pretty sure he played on all of them. I like American Style better than Wine, Women and Song, but both are good.

I don't get it

That's because I was stoned!

Ohh, now I get it. Well, I still don't get it in the first place because there's nothing to get, but I get why I don't get it. Get it?

Soo... what exactly is the point of your paper? I have no idea what the hell all this rhythmic stuff is about
Sometimes in school you'll have to write analytical papers on songs that deal with the technicalities; i.e. song structure, rhythm struchture, etc.  It's like looking at a beautiful woman and describing her from a phisiological/anatomical viewpoint.

Right, I just don't understand what he's actually saying about the rhythms.

and here i thought they hated each other.

They do. Or at least Buzz hates Patton, he's getting sick and tired of him.
Sect!: "Have you thought about doing a follow-up album?"
Buzzo: "Ah, that's up to Mike. I like playing this stuff. It's really different than anything I've ever done... and I like that. I like that aspect of the whole thing. It's different than the Melvins. I approach it differently. I play differently. I think about it differently. It's a totally different thing, and that really attracts me to the project. Definitely.

I don't get it, how does that quote mean that Buzz hates Patton? He said he really likes "the project"

I liked it, especially the inanimate objects singing with funny mouths and the fact that it starred Choda Boy.

Am I missing something? Where's part 4? All I see is some stuff about the Divinyls and a Valiant Thor video.

Why does Krist look so bored in that video?

I have some mp3s that claim to be the Melvins in Winnipeg in 1985 I think, that's pretty far away from the border and pretty early in their career if that's true. I really wish they'd come to Toronto, I'd be there in a second.

That was pretty cool, but I wonder why he put Mike Patton on the Idiot Meter. Buzz, Dale and Kevin have all played with him in different bands.

Am I the only one who can't see the Senile Animal tabs correctly?
