I want to hear some Honky stuff live again

Well Honky is opening, does that count?

Oh god I remember that, the guy said something along the lines that Honey Bucket was the only good song the Melvins wrote or something along those lines and Buzz spends the rest of the interview calling the guy a piece of shit. It really goes downhill from the Honey Bucket comment.

Is it the infamous "I can write a better riff with my asshole" interview? I vaguely remember this. I remember being able to read the scans though.

Yeah I think that's the one. Maybe we can't read it because No_I_Have_Not deleted their account?

Thanks Glen, but if Paul's too lazy to read the article, I wasn't going to cliff-note it for him.

 Yeah, I actually didn't read the article, but I did have time to make a smart ass remark.

Somewhat related; an anonymous donor paid $142K in back taxes for the Masonic Temple in Detroit to remain open.  That donor?  Jack White.

How is it anonymous if you know it's Jack White?

I liked the note on the poster.

Please Note that many of these posters are limited in quantity and will be shipping at your own risk – we are unable to provide replacements for any posters damaged by shipping carriers in transit.

These posters are leftovers. In some cases, they have traveled far. While nothing detracts from the overall beauty of the images, if you’re one who gets panicky about a miniscule 1/16th of an inch indentation on a corner or hyperventilates when an object in the earth is not MINT then we suggest you probably look elsewhere to buy posters.

Also note there is a $2.00 handling fee added to the final shipping price on all posters shipped domestically.

Actually, I clearly remember him using a plexiglass guitar on Hog Leg in the "Salad of a thousand delights" DVD.

i think he didnt own that guitar,he borrowed it from someone.

Yeah that was an Ibanez guitar in Salad, right? That thing caused crazy feedback.

also, is this the only Melvins album that has had official lyrics released for it? any ever come with some vinyl versions or something?

The Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments CD came with lyrics to songs on Ozma. Eggnog came with snippets of lyrics to each song. And there are a few words/phrases in the artwork to Pigs Of The Roman Empire. Uhh...I think one issue of Pissing In The Wind included some hand-written lyrics to songs from Eggnog and maybe another album? Houdini has lyrics to Hooch. I think I'm forgetting something but that's a start.

Around the time of Stag Pissing in the Wind had some lyrics from songs on there.

So, did Honey Bucket end up getting recorded for this ?????  :P

Yes, according the review I read they played it during the encore (which doesn't make much sense since they usually do not play encores)
