I don't want to speak too soon, but it looks like I'm about to be starting a new job making a "living wage." Buzz and Dale, you now have my permission to schedule an Atlanta show :D

For those of you that skipped the Crystal Ballroom show because you didn't like the brewfest aspect.......you missed out. Same set as last night in Tacoma, but not as packed.  It was a great show that wasn't near as full of drunk dipshits as I expected.

 Imagine missing one of the best bands because other people in attendance are consuming alcohol!

I'm still on the fence about getting a ticket for this Saturday.
1) Will it be substantially the same set as last July?
2) I have soured on the venue since the last time they played there in '05.
3) It's a fucking beer festival, with all of that's potential problems.
4) I see there is a September Eugene show. Will they heading back to Portland this fall?
S'pose I better make up my mind......

Melvins are good, beer is good. Choice seems simple :D

I kinda hope no more Melvins US dates are announced til fall.
"Fall" is Autumn right? In that case i think you may be disappointed. I can't see the band going that long until a US tour goes ahead. Perhaps if they do though, a Melvins show might occur on one of your free days.

I just got off phone with Buzz. He says he will postpone dates until I get a new job

I got tickets to like 12 things already so I kinda hope no more Melvins US dates are announced til fall. I'd hate to have a Melvins show interfere with something I already have tickets for. They really should do everything with my schedule in mind

Selfish reasoning though, since they'd undoubtedly do better in Knoxville or Nashville. I just dig the idea of driving only 20 minutes to see Melvins, as opposed to the usual 90 minute trek to ATL

How can I book the boys for Chattanooga, TN? There are enough lame stoner doom bands in the area, so I'm sure it'd be a sellout show. High on Fire packed our now-defunct Revelry Room in 2015

I like that he covered a 70s Genesis tune but I always thought Grace was boring
