For the uninitiated, Skinner does amazing artwork, and has done posters for many a Melvins tour.  As well as a poster and hoodie for the doc.  He's also a pretty cool weirdo.

Melvins Discussion / The Colossus of Destiny: A Melvins Tale
« on: January 30, 2015, 06:59:04 PM »
We are close to launching our Kickstarter for The Colossus of Destiny: A Melvins Tale. While we have a lot of great prizes lined up, we are interested in hearing what you guys would like to see offered. Keep in mind, we aren't asking for costs, we just want to know what you would be interested in seeing for prizes.  Also keep in mind, a Kickstarter isn't a store.  You get a prize (or multiple prizes) for contributing towards something that you want to see made, with the end goal being that the money is raised and the movie is made.  We've been working on this for years.  That doesn't mean it gets finished.  There is a lot of work left to do, and we will need help doing it.

With that in mind, let's hear your ideas.

Melvins Discussion / Smellis
« on: September 10, 2014, 04:01:11 PM »
I hate to be the bearer of this news, but my/our longtime friend and board member passed away this morning after battling cancer.

Anyone that knew Bret knew he was a huge Melvins fan, and always right up in front of Buzz at any show he could make it to. Fan would be an understatement really, he was downright insanely enthusiastic about the band. Seeing him at a show and his excitement, you'd think every show was his first. I have known him pretty much since my first year on this board and always saw him at northwest shows. He was a damn good guy and I'm gonna miss him.

**I realize this isn't "Melvins" news, but Bret is pretty much an original to this board and many an old head here will know who he was.  He deserves to have a thread here under Melvins discussion.

RIP Smellis.
