Seems to be the only new addition to the setlist on this leg.

I wonder why they don't switch it up more often - Steve is versatile and there is so much unexplored music from the 2010s alone.

they added At a Crawl&Halo of Flies too

Halo has been rotating in the set since 2015, At a Crawl since 2018

By "switching it up" I really mean digging into some material they haven't played live before or haven't played in ages. For example, as much as I love The Bit and Night Goat, I wouldn't mind giving those a rest to make way for something different.

yeah, i can see your point

Dumpster D, it wasn't cheap, but let's just say that I'm really, really, really glad that my favorite bass player is Kevin and not John Paul Jones or Roger Waters or someone that famous. It costs more than most fans would spend on memorabilia, but way less than a damn house or whatever similar sum of money something like Paul's Hofner would go for. I'm a painter so I don't collect much art because I'm up to my neck in my own stuff. For me this is art. And I get to take it off the wall every now and then, plug it in to the old Ampeg and do my best Night Goat.

wow, lots of info i wasn't aware of. thanks Ian

especially this

But then originally Shrinebuilder was only going to be Al, Wino and ex-Sleep/Om drummer Chris Hakius. So i suppose whatever those three had conceived was either reworked or ditched.

Nagas sounded great. honestly my expectations with this project were too high and when the album finally came out, listening to it for the first time, i thought they could have done a lot better in matter of riffs.. i changed a bit my opinion after seeing them live, show was great.

hey Pelican, for some strange reasons i had missed your posts.. so let me say K. Rutmanis must be totally crazy to have sold those basses, i'm shocked to say the least. with this said you made such a great deal.

I don’t think he’s played them much at all for a few years. He’s been playing his Bass VI pretty exclusively. I asked him about that and he said it’s got a little more range. On the Conan Nuetron podcast he mentioned that he does still have an old G&L SB-2 and that it’s his favorite bass. Not sure if that’s the same one from his Cows days or not.

yeah, i saw the bass he's currently using... must be some alluminum neck six strings bass  (egc?) ... still there's no way i would have sold those basses. lucky you!

live they were cool, album didn't impress me too much, even though i can remember it grew on me... long time i don't listen to it now. i remember Scott Kelly vocals being totally annoying for my tastes
