I think around 45 times. First saw them in 94. I'm too lazy to list all the shows but they were all great.

someone spent money to make this?

Good for melvins.  Bigger audience.  Bigger paychecks.
I am way to grumpy for the new glossy melvins.  Sabbath cover?  What next? My money is on a Rolling Stones cover lp.
Dad rock rules.

This might be the dumbest comment ever posted on this message board. The dumb is self evident. No need to explain the dumb. So dumb it may just be trolling.

the sense of entitlement in this thread blows me away.

These kinds of limited edition vinyl things wouldn't exist if most people didn't steal music. I doubt Joyful Noise could afford to do these things without the subscription model. No one is trying to screw anyone over.

I'm just happy that the Melvins can continue to keep recording and playing live. I can't imagine trying to make a living from music these days.

So are the Melvins showing up for this?

8
Ask them about meeting Andre 3000. Are they recording with him?

Ask them if they are doing any more toys or shoes or weird merch items.

9
Care to either scan or list out what the insert says?

10
Maybe there's something tricky going on that we don't know about.

Maybe there'll be a diamond encrusted box set that will have all 10.

That pop matters reviewer is a shithead. Of course, I would have known without reading the review, if I had just skipped ahead to his self-aggrandizing bio at the end. Labor union activist? Talk about expired pursuits!

Music critics are (not all) for the most part failed musicians with narrow viewpoints. I can't count the number of reviews over the years I've read complaining about how the Melvs aren't just down to business and being heavy metal. Get a fucking life. He and all the rest of this ilk are totally missing the point.

The reason I'm a fan is because they aren't about being a one trick pony - they are into weird and varied shit and have turned me on to a lot of great stuff in the process of pursuing their own interests.

ummmm

they are emperor speaker cabinets. As far as I know the preamp (sunn) and power amp (carver) are the same as he usually uses.

I think he uses a Marshall head when traveling overseas.

amps ≠ cabs

if it were overpriced it wouldn't sell out right away.

isn't it better for all of this cool limited stuff to come out than them having to call it quits for lack of money?
