If you gave the Melvins three hundred grand to make an album just imagine the results!!
Hopefully they'd make a triple album of silence with a plain black sleeve, and spend that year playing golf in Barbados.

Has anyone seen or know about the status of the film?
I was wondering that as well.   It seems really strange to release it this far after the album has dropped.
We didn't get to see Terminal City Ricochet until 20 years after the soundtrack was released!

Luckily I got to see it on the big screen when it was first released. It was great, a theater full of rowdy punks. We were all drinking tall cans and smoking pot ... goodtimes!
Lucky Canadians! It was worth the wait for the rest of us, though. Much like Mike & the Melvins.
Luck on every finger my friend. Was it worth it? I haven't seen it since and all I remember 'bout it is Shithead and Gene Kiniski as the coppers
Alternative Tentacles released it on DVD in 2010 at the same time as The Widower. For me The Widower was even better! Please watch it. Shithead, Ani Kyd and Nardwuar are all in it, so it's full of mad Canadians (Virus 408).

As far as the Love & Death movie is concerned, it'll probably appear in 40 years time with the Vinnie Interview and Idle and Bob's Colossus of Destiny Special Edition. All on the same day. I'm already planning to sire a child to snag them all as I'll have probably snuffed it by the time they all come out.

Thanks for all the reviews! Is there a tour shirt specific to Australia this year?

I was backstage at the Oslo opera a couple of weeks ago

8) ,  by the way )

and met a guy there who works on the sets. He has a band called The Shevils. Yep, after the Melvins.

A day earlier, in a punk bar called Enga opposite where I was staying, the owner told me her husband's best friend just had a kid they called Melvin. Yep, after the Melvins. Oslo's full of nut-jobs.

How was the Halloween show?
Changed my mind. The last time I was at that venue, the assholes on security very nearly ruined the night and I didn't want the same thing to happen again. I had such a great time in Zurich, wanted to keep the memory fresh. Hopefully Monkey L Duffy was at the Brixton show and will post a review.
Apart from confiscating my chewing gum at the door, security behaved themselves as far as I can see. Great show.
That's great news. I'm more inclined to return there now.
