Good song...good video. Would've been twice as awesome if those kids had been wearing neon-colored camouflage to match their super-soakers.

That was a great cover of The Bloat!  One of the best Melvins covers I've heard.

The Melvins will be covering Unsane's Alleged for the single.

Ooooh...that would be lovely. I'm sure Melvins can do this song justice.
I'm gonna light a scented candle in honor of this cover...it's getting crowded in my trousers.

what kind of scumbag would ask a hyper-inflated price for a MELVINS recording or object?
i agree thats why when i was the first to see the thread on amrep i decided not to get another copy to flip and instead leave them for other people to have the chance. ive got one copy for myself and thats all i need.
pinkys ebay feedback shows 3 sold already, and the one she sold me makes 4 and she must have a personal copy so 5 already, thats a scumbag.

I wouldn't call her a scumbag. I think she is just a good capitalist that is providing a service that people obviously want.

Too true.
Capitalism...it's the American way

Melvins Discussion / Re: Black Betty 7" new versions?
« on: July 21, 2011, 05:59:35 PM »
Deal with it you crybabies. It's not a rip-off. The band is barely making anything off of these.  Melvins are the best band in the world and this is the best version of Black Betty ever recorded. I will gladly shell out hundreds and thousands of dollars to buy anything they release. This 7" is a musical masterpiece, and the art gets me so wet.

Just filling in for Sadcorps until he makes his visit to this thread.

My thoughts on GG Allin:

Hung like a Corn Nut.

Were you trying to get a ride to this? I would have picked you up. I had to drop my baby Brother off in Mission Bay, and ended up going to the show alone...a first for me.
I don't remember much of what they played...I'm terrible with song titles. Was a good show though. Dunn's upright sounded absolutely monstrous.

Thanks for taking the time to break it all down for us, Boy.
I am now convinced that thirty dollars for a 7" is a STELLAR BARGAIN.
Maybe you can just keep going on and on and on about it?
Perhaps post in some more threads that have nothing to do with that amazing piece of musical history that you've got such a swollen hog-leg for?

Yeah, people were right that you are an acquired taste when it comes to humor. It's alright though Chuckles, I wouldn't expect you to come into Burger King to tell me how to my job either.  :?

How come you burger-pukes always short me on my chick-chick nuggies?

I always thought it was Brown Starfish.

I am still waiting for Chuckles to make me laugh. :(

Hold your breath....it's coming....
rope after gooey rope, slathered across your pink, puckered, anthill.

I can barely make it through "Quickness".
Everything after that is butthole.

Wait a minute. The CD only costs around $12-15 bucks?
I'm amazed. This shit is groundbreaking. It's got 13 tracks and an orange cover with pigs.
Just the thought of this fabulous item arriving at my door step sends shivers up and down my fabulous flesh-scepter.
I'd have absolutely no problem paying $1,300 for it.
Cause' I know what good music is worth.

You would pay $12-15 for a CD? Fucking dipshit. You can get this for free on the internet. Try Kickasstorrents or Pirate Bay. A CD is an archaic way to transfer digital information to your iTunes. I am not convinced that you even know good music.

Put that in your "bloated milk-bags" or your "puckered ass-knot" and smoke it.

I'm begging you, please,
be my Charlie's Angel.
I'll lay you down on a satin cloud,
and douse you with the most deliciously delightful Milk Duds from Heaven.
I'll make you squeal, with my mass appeal.
We'll grab a sixer and shred...bark like a dog.

awe - his humor requires an "acquired taste"?

Make laugh Chuckles. Make me laugh!

Calm down, tough guy. No need to be upset. Just stating my opinion on something that kinda irritated me.

You're all upset....as if they made some law against wearing butt-beads through the x-ray machine at the airport.

Not upset, just not entertained. Butt-beads is cute, but "internet message board guys" like you should be able to do better. Just stating my opinion. I expect more!

If you want more you'll have to come to my show and see me in person.
It's gonna cost you $100 to get into the venue.
Yeah, I realize that most comedy shows only run 10 or 15 bucks, but my time is both LIMITED and EXCLUSIVE, and is without a doubt worth every penny of your hard-earned cash.
I want some cake too, boy.

Oh, and I'll host a Q&A session after the show just for the super special internet fan-boys (such as yourself).
I'll be serving cookies, punch, and all the juicy wiener you can fit down your salivating cock-holster.

I buy a ton of records through mail order. It definitely seems that prices for vinyl are steadily rising, and it's understandable that a band/label might wanna rake in a few extra bucks on some of their releases. I've certainly overpaid for items that perhaps weren't worth the dough I shelled out, but this single is the biggest rip-off I've seen in some time. I don't give a fuck how great a band is....$30 for a 7" is fucking robbery. It might be worth it if it came with a patch, a sticker, a download code, a book of matches, a hanky, used condom, stick of juicy fruit, etc.. ANYTHING! It is a SINGLE folks! The going rate for most singles is $5! And let's not forget...the music included on this single FUCKING SUCKS. A total throw-away track. I'm sure Buzz and the gang are extremely happy to pass this garbage off to all of the fan-boy suckers out there. "Look at all these goons snatching up these thirty dollar singles, yee-haw! Daddy needs a new pair of Mu-mu's!"

No wonder The Melvins are a bunch of fat fucks. Do the math on these singles.
That's a lotta cake, boy.

is COADY on a diet?

Bulimia nervosa, I presume.
