Imagine this. I actually don’t think I’d mind it! I‘d be able to see over heads and wouldn’t have to fight to get up front.

Perfect for Melvins viewing. Looks like a blast

Why would he be deported? For a bunch of jokesters, you all are really bad at reading jokes.

I still don’t appreciate calling buzz demeaning names. I’m not ok with that.

Wow guys. Did you hear that? It sounds like you know Buzz on a personal level and really know what you’re talking about.

Judge JUDSTERS here. No one calls King Buzzo a squealing pig on my watch.

Hmmmm. Something tells me it was THAT GUY who was being the dick about it.

I mean, it seems he is still feeling butt hurt about it :-({|=

I like the bass player goat and the meat tin...not to mention the kick drum art is stellar.  8)

...and I really appreciate the toilet brush in there for good measures.. memories!

Thank you so much! I’m sorry i didn’t see this sooner
I had the most fun with the goat. I started painting it, but it’s not done.

I did paint the page I made for The Grumpy’s Palmers book! Proceeds from book sales go to help the good employees there who are currently out of a job.

I made a few LP size prints if anyone’s interested
They should be arriving tomorrow

Oh yeah! So the universe handed me this magical space harp and I’ve been plugging pedals in to play some ambio-metal. My end goal is to find a Brian Eno meets Merzbow fusion, but I’ve been wanting to do something melvinsy for control practice. Maybe I can get Brian to bass for me - I want to do Sacrifice

Also, I traded that painting a while back ago for a freak puke letter press variant. Let me know if you have something in mind via visuals, I’d love to contribute more art.

I'd love to use your work from the BBS Members Artwork Thread. Brad's work too. 2011 to 2015 the thread had a lot of activity. Truly great artwork!

You have my blessing. Just let me know what you want to use. I haven’t posted any recent work, plus I notice photobucket is showing a watermark on my images. I probably went over the limit....

Artwork by Judy and Anaconda!

 :(

Goddammit. I’m willing to bet brad would be thrilled to have his work used.

Bravo!!

Great stuff

Really nice to see you around here again

Missed having a female presence

Melvins Discussion / Melvins included in Coloring Books for a Cause
« on: May 03, 2020, 02:33:51 PM »
Hey everyone! It has been a while, I hope you are all well in the midst of all the craziness happening right now in the world.

I recently had the opportunity to team up with Sean Tillmann (aka Calvin Krime/Har Mar) and friends to work on a project called coloring books for a cause. I donated 2 pages to one dedicated to Grumpy's and another historic local bar called Palmers, and more recently a MELVINS page for First Ave pt 2. So far, they have raised over $25,000 to help local artists, musicians, and service workers who are out of a job right now. Anyway, pick one up if you can. They're kid friendly, full of games/puzzles, and of course, for a good cause.

I had a blast working on this MELVINS page. I did my best to fit all of the bassists into one goat. I hope you like it too. Peace.

Dude we would have helped you get to the tunnel. I was worried about you.

I’d like to respectfully decline on being in any shared pics. We go to a lot of random Melvins shows and I’d rather not have anyone watching and taking notes

Please and thank you

Riff raff outsuds the venue was super unfortunate.  The shooting was in the neighborhood behind the venue - probably a drug dispute. I hope no one died

The venue KICKS ASS. Sound was soooo good and they even had a level up area in the back so I could actually see the show without getting squished. MELVINS !!!!

Fun times seeing everyone! Hope you all are safe

Dumpy is your hotel in Mexican town? There is loads to do in Detroit and the city has really cleaned up. Unfortunately I doubt you’ll have luck w public transportation (the bus system hardly operates) but you should definitely check out cork town and hamtramck
