Is gumbo like chili, but instead of beans, you use rice?

Wow, I'm a longtime Who fan, and I think Odds & Sods is a snoozefest.  Basically a quickly thrown together album of leftovers to please the record company at the time between Quadrophenia & By Numbers. It's just too all over the place, stuff ranging from the early days to songs that weren't good enough for Who's Next. A few of the songs are great, some are easily filler. That was the first Who album I owned, on 8-track no less. I recently traded in my vinyl of it, because it just collected dust.

Live @ Leeds on vinyl and the expanded version on CD is the only Who I really need along with the Meaty Beaty Big & Bouncy set.
Live at Leeds is the bees knees.

Really, it was on YouTube??

I had no idea, I always see those fake videos there with the title of the documentary but only that. Either way, I know that I'm never going to watch it because:

1. It's impossible to even conceive the idea of a screening in Chile (and in Temuco?... ha!, no fucking way).

2. Apparently it's only available as a blu-ray/DVD set and my BR player is old as fuck plus there's the problem with the so called "world zones".

3. The blu-ray/DVD set is only available at revolve and they do not accept PayPal (let alone PayPal balance).
Legally, you can buy it for streaming through Vimeo.  Enjoy your viewing in chile!

Always got something to bitch or complain about, don't you?
Schnab is right above of course, the band can only (realistically) talk about what an interviewer wishes to discuss. But from a fan point of view, surely even you agree that it would be so much more interesting to hear more insightful things. Or rather things we haven't heard repeated before in interviews. Perhaps i am alone on this, but personally i would love to hear further about how he constructs his songs - the songwriting process, how they approach piecing together an album or working in the studio or such. Something more along those lines.

Someone should start a thread about questions to ask the Melvins in an interview.

starting with the Big Biz collab they've gone down a more accessible road.

unfortunately your average every day MELVINS fan is not looking for accessibility.
I think the opposite might be true.  Recent fans from the past five to ten years seem to love the poppier sounding Melvins.  If you'd said "older fans aren't looking for accessibility", I'd probably agree with you.

I remember them charging around $10 shipping for a few stickers a while ago. Someone complained on Facebook, and one of their reps gave a snarky reply that they needed to cover for lost shipments and supplies.

Got a kick starter email, here's the rundown:

- should be streaming on vimeo for backers soon with download to follow.
- DVD set for the end of may. Pre-orders set but backers get the goods first. Disc 1 = documentary; Disc 2 = 2014 live set, bonus live & interview clips; Disc 3 = unseen interviews, live stuff, bloopers

To add to this, I'm pretty sure the third disc is solely for those who paid quite a bit extra for the box set version of this release.
$300 for the three disc set.

Saturnine, were you ever a fan of sonic youth?
