Killer show from '92.
I really wish they still opened with Charmicarmicat.

The person recording this to cassette needed to flip over the tape and record the rest of Boris. Otherwise, what a sweet version of Charmicarmicat!

of their recent albums this is probably the one i listen more
From the last decade i'd say this album is my favorite!

Chicken Switch is the only one where I'd skip around. Eye and Merzbow and a handful stick out as worth repeat listening. Matmos? Was Matmos on there? I probably anally detailed my thoughts on this in Melvins Album Discussion.

I know you did a detailed description of the LOVE album track by track of your thoughts about it. I'll check it out the next time i'm listening to that one!

In terms of first getting and listening to a new release, i remember listening to "Freak Puke" like 4 or 5 times straight through on the first day i bought it, really getting into that one from the beginning. Another line-up change after the Big Business boys exited and Trevor joined the fold.

Melvins Discussion / Re: Which album do you most often listen to?

no doubt, Prick. which, on a related note, has been my first melvins album. still love it 8)
That's crazy that Prick would be your introduction into the Melvins! I remember being at the music store and saw how the Melvins was written in a backwards mirrored image on the front artwork and i knew something was up with this album.

I get in moods where i want to listen to something different. That's when i play Prick.

I wish my brother would've gotten further into the Melvins catalogue. He had the Gluey Porch Treatments cassette, then purchased Stag on cassette and then quit.  :(

I remember being the most excited for the "(A) Senile Animal" record to see what the band would come up with. I've been a fan since '98 when my brother picked up a cassette of Gluey Porch Treatments and i remember him telling me the next year of a new album they were coming out with. (The Maggot) The Rutmanis years were great and i hoped they'd never end, but with the Melvins now heading in a new direction with a new bassist PLUS a second drummer, i was ready to see how it would sound.
