As far as I know, they were never on Sub Pop.

The book isn't about bands on Sub Pop. The book is an anthology of the Sub Pop fanzines and music columns written by Bruce Pavitt in the Rocket.

I'd be keen to know though if Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman ever considered signing the Melvins.

Just received both gatefolds. The pixelated images in the Ozma/Bullhead release are embarrassing. Don't know how they thought it was okay to let this go through production.

Anyway, whatever. About to listen.

Reckon Boner will also reissue the 3 band member EPs? To me it doesn't look like it. Why would they reissue all the Boner stuff at the same time except for these ones? Would be a real shame.

Melvins Discussion / Question about Six Songs
October 13, 2014, 04:18:17 AM
Hello there! This is my yearly post.

Does anyone know when the band rerecorded the Six Songs EP and other outtakes? There doesn't seem to be any info online about this. Eight Songs came out in 1991 but I'd be surprised if they waited that long before rerecording everything.

This is going from bad to worse. My mailman delivered a slip on Monday saying that apparently UK Customs is holding my parcel and there's an outstanding charge to pay. Assholes! So I paid it that day, and here I am 3 days later, STILL waiting. Those idiots better not have lost it. And it's infuriating because you phone Royal Mail and everything is automated, so it's impossible to get any useful info.

And low and behold, and LP a week after my Amrep order showed up today, no issue.

*RAGE*

Reeeeeally thought the mailman would deliver my package this morning, but no.

The wait is excruciating!

I'm in London. Weird that you received it so quickly and I'm still waiting.

it's up for pre order on itunes, you can preview 1:30 of each song,

Cheers for the heads up. Sounds okay so far. Am sure it's a grower.

Is there talk of this EP being released on vinyl?

IMO it's their best work since A Senile Animal.
