Of course has to mention they were more into Black Flag than Black Sabbath so people don't go thinking they were ripping off Black Sabbath when they built their sound

Based on their early stuff, I don't see how one could see more Sabbath than BF in their sound.

I'm coming to town on the 13th.  Wish it could have worked out like The Jesus Lizard.

Yes, it's great.  One of the posters that got me into collecting them.

That really is a good list. I'd like another one as I have to assume there's Funkadelic and Beefheart on it. And I've always wondered what Buzz thinks about Monk, the greatest musician ever.

More of a Trane man myself, but can't go wrong with Monk.

Mitrowski's gonna be all over this.

It’s crazy how fast the Seattle shows sell out now. I’ve enjoyed the wonderball room in Portland the last couple of years. Nuemos isn’t my favorite from Seattle. I’m going to dread the year that I can’t watch the live yearly show.....seeing them live from 19-31 I’ve gotta say there’s nothing that compares to a live melvins show, whether it’s buzz solo or a lite or a big biz./ melvins, etc. This is my favorite live band of all time and I’ll continue until it doesn’t exist..

No shit.  Can't believe the Neumo's show already sold out.

I wish they'd do a 4x2 tour.  Four sets with just Buzzo and Dale.

I have one of the variant editions of this poster.

Awesome.  I bought that from DFP when first released.

Are you this Ayejay?

Regardless, welcome!

I'm going out of town that day, so no show for me.  I can at least take comfort that they come through here a few times a year.

I will be at Troubador (LA), Showbox (Seattle), Echo (LA) and maybe Flagstaff AZ.

No Seattle?  No WA dates at all?  Hopefully they're working on something for July 13.

Sorry sadcorps, DM's just a contrarian.  He rarely has anything substantive to add.

Most of the places the Melvins play here have an in/out policy.  I buy the poster, roll it, put in tube, and take it out to my car.  I flatten it out at home and I always store them flat.  Too long in a tube and they take forever to flatten.
