Only if she listens to them (which, knowing her, I would have to say no). I wish you two would come out for New Years, the wives could hang out and we could go to the show. Saddly, that's the only way I'm going to be there.

A guy I know saw Pinetop Perkins (an old blues musician, played with Muddy Waters at one point but is well known by many blues fans) playing live last year in Austin, TX, he's 93 years old now.
Those blues cats just keep playing and playing until they die. BB King is still going strong (in his 80's I think). I was lucky enought to live in San Francisco when John Lee Hooker was there (he opened the Boom Boom Room - awesone blues bar) and was planning a tour of Europe when he died in 2001 @ 84 yo I believe.

Met cheeseburger and that's it from the board. I was slightly disappointed in Altamont, short set, and I seem to remember they were much better when I saw them in Seattle. Porn was good. It seemed like they only played one song and the rest was just them goofing around (but, hey, that's what they do). BB and then Melvins, well, what can you say, they tore the GAMH down. GAMH is my favorite SF venue (even more than the Filmore). I'm at work right now, so bye bye....
