^ Nice design there Tommy.

As for the Canada thing, I got the impression that they got a lot of grief when trying to enter Canada, not necessarily related to taxes.

Thanks man.
and yea...  lets make them an offer they can't refuse.
Sacrifice a virgin.

Or maybe I'll make a Melvins million dollar bill and post in on the Melvins wealthy thread, that would amuse me.

For my final project this semester I had to make a 20$ bill (Canadian) featuring some1 who won the Governor Generals Award in Arts..

I ended up with Neil Young.

Now to counterfeit some real cash.  <--sarcasm you damn government spying on me

IF they would play here I would be there no matter what..  and I'm sure many more would follow.

If only.

fucking Canada .............   eh
Would a basket of maple syrup entice them

Oh ya and 2 years ago I saw that Fantomas show your referring to but in Toronto not Montreal..   Was with the Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant and The Locust. Good stuff...  got the ball rolling for me (musically).

Melvins Show Reviews / Re: Detroit Show Posters
« on: November 29, 2006, 12:30:35 PM »
These band poster are highly inspirational (for the most part). Beautifully executed. both have a symmetrical design that works well.
Any Idea how someone would go about submitting artwork to the Melvin's.
How do they choose the posters since it doesn't look like they stick to 1 artist like they do for lets say album art.

What makes it unenjoyable is if you are unprepared.  If you ever find yourself trying it again, make sure it's on your own terms. Be in a comfortable place (alone or with 1 other person who will be quiet).. turn the lights down to the "sexy" level..  and sit back and think happy thoughts..  : )  it's really for spiritual reflection...  but I'll fuck around with my mind and put some melvins music to trip to.  Prety sure it'll be a scary experience.

Only a month or so until I can go to Ottawa and get some.

« on: November 18, 2006, 12:40:50 PM »
Since the new albums just came out we haven't started thinking about our next album yet. Soon, I think, but who knows? We have to finish this tour and then take it from there. We would love to do some other collaborations but we don't know with who. Any ideas?

Why didnt the interviewer respond to this question... fool.. I could of tossed out a few names.

Where are you do you live?

I live in ottawa and there's a "puff alot" shop 5 minutes from my place. I've never actually stepped into the place though. However I do own some of their toys.
I live in Kingston which is like, 1h:30 min away if you drive like me..  2 hours for everyone else.
I pretty much have no real choice..  It's either over priced Dolan's, stupid ass staff at the Hemporium who bitched me out for calling a Bud Buster a Bud Buster.. ITS A TABACCO GRINDER the lady screams...  and also calling a bong a bong. Or the puff alot.

I guess you died then?
I take it you are referring to me. I am very much alive, the reason I haven't posted anything yet is that there is really only 2 suppliers of Salvia in my town. The 1st being the Puff Alot which has been sold out for months and keeps telling me 2 weeks until he gets his new batch (apparently he's having trouble getting the stuff from the states, they only want to handle american currency or something along those lines).  The second being a small smoke shop where they jacked up the price of a gram bag to 45 bucks. Im sorry but I refuse to pay that much for a gram of anythjing.. maybe that's y cocaine isn't my drug of choice haha. So I wont be getting my hands on any possibly until christmas (which is when I will go down to Ottawa to purchase salvia at a higher potency for around 20-25 bucks a gram (canadian)).

So ya until then.  I apologize if you are anticipating watching me trip balls.  i'm anticipating finding out if it will make me trip in a negative or positive way.  I have faith that the melvins can provide me with a pleasant experience.
