thats exactly what eventually happened with that primus skateboard i was selling.

It would be nice if there was a way to exclude words from searches (e.g. Harold).

in normal search you just need to do a - (minus sign) then the word you want to exclude.
for example, my melvins search on ebay is always
melvins -melvin.
this gets rid of all that harold melvin shit.
also on an all results search it reduces it from 19000 results to 4000. i normally then reduce it to auctions only so then its more like 200 results. which i can actually be bothered to look through, even if 40 of the results are jules with his buffalo tom and nirvana records.

he also likes to pollute your melvins ebay search with a shit load of buffalo tom records.

I seem to remember live snails coming up in Melvins searches for a while. Wonder who was responsible for that?   

ha i do it on purpose, based on if it annoys me it must annoy others, and i love annoying others,
now i tend to put green day in every auction as i hate there fans more.

worst thing is when people list the band it isnt before naming the actual thing on sale.
i see it all the time with a band called sexy prison, yet the first word in the auction title is "mayyors"

i have just contacted PAUL POET himself, the guy who made the film. he told me that there have been some labels (crippled dick hot wax, alternative tentacles,...) that wanted to release it as a dvd in the past, but nothing happened yet...

The crazy thing I've seen lately that Rise Above Records is doing with stuff like this is if they see and track who's trying to sell the order they haven't got yet on Ebay they get refunded, revoked and blacklisted.

sure i read recently that amrep actually bought the stuff back on ebay so they would see the persons name and then block them from ever buying again,
of course stuff like this doesnt stop same asshole then buying in future on another family members account.

think it may have been "recordflipper" that was the asshole in question, anyone else remember reading something like this.
