Are Melvins even playing this date? Says select only. I know the 07/03 - 07/18 shows are Melvins shows ... how many of the others?

I like The Stick more than Smalls - mostly because I think the sound is better.
But I agree that St Andrews would be the place to go....

I was excited for a moment...until I decided to cross-check the dates with the Ipecac and Magic Stick site.... Melvins are not on the bill for the Detroit date.

I really think it is time to move to another state. I officially hate this place.

i don't listen to anything prior to the album (i'll leave the room when they play a growing disgust)...
it's not easy though; i am glad i will be away for vacation in a week, so when i return the album should arrive pretty soon...

I'm the same way-I'd rather wait and savor the album as one solid entity. Not easy at all...

Ahhh. I was confused by how you were wording it. That had to have been an awesome juxtaposition to see. Watching Dale and Coady in unison has been the ultimate highlight of this line-up.  Sorry I had to miss it

I've seen enough evidence in the Melvins Video Thread (and with me very own eyes) to know that Buzzo can slam a guitar around and smoosh it to the ground and it still does everything he wants it to do. Jedi mind tricks....

The track is super slow and isn't afraid to take its time....

I ask myself that all the time. I came to the conclusion a while ago that he probably tears words out of newspapers, throws them into a hat and and randomly pulls them out to perfectly make sense with everything else that is going on.
Or not. Either way... I don't really care. The man sure knows how to write a song.

Damn. The videographer did a great job of capturing the slow-mo response from the audience. That's me when I see Melvins: in a complete trance, but still rockin hard. THE fucking BIT. One of the best live songs ever performed by hu-mons.

UGH. This makes me so hungry to see them live again.... I'm still super psyched for Melvins Lite but I'm going to miss not seeing them with Coady and Jared.
