Melvins Discussion / Re: The Melvins in 2019...
« on: March 21, 2019, 06:21:54 AM »
Freak Puke was and is one of my personal favorites from the last 10 years. And the shows from that tour were very very special (Including ending each one with the Definitive mind blowing version of Shevil) Trevor Dunn is a monster of talent and creativity.

I find myself saying this over and over, but what makes Melvins great is their constant willingness to try new things, take chances and change. I'd be thrilled for more of that lineup to surface, They supposedly recorded a ton of material when they made that record.

I'll just leave this here

Not much to add here but FUCK yes.

It is SO weird in these videos seeing Melvins performing in a huge arena.
Saw them open for White Zombie in ‘95 in a big place.  Saw them open for Tool in ‘99 at a giant outdoor amphitheater.  This is only weird because they are playing Spoonman.

Completely missed this, was it only available physically?
I see some youtube rips but I'm looking for an official digital release.

Otisserie filmed the whole thing on his Instagram live, you can rewatch it for 24 hours

I thought the bandcamp is a redemption for physical purchases only.

That would make sense...

Would it? I collect vinyl too but I would primarily like to hear what this thing sounds like and that doesn't seem to be the purpose of it

Limo Wreck would also be very Melvins

I'll take Spoonman though
