That Crover prank kills me. Imagine that after decades of working together.

The fact that his studio is Sound of Silence in a Japanese accent is fucking hilarious.

Bruh.....just this moment got that.

Nowi have to listen to Bulls & Bees for that hallway sound. From memory "National Hamster" has a pretty live club sound but I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure the Christmas Day hallway recording story was for Female Trouble with Trevor. Unless they did this more than once.

Melvins Discussion / Buzz on Murmur Podcast (Modern School of Film)

Couldn't find this posted anywhere, Buzz was a guest on their third episode in 2016.

There is of course lots of John Huston talk, the host is engaging and encourages deep dives.

Patton also did one where he touches on Fantômas (and Bungle's) approaches to film among many other things.

Yes, Gareth was in the crew for the first leg. He usually does tech and merch in Europe but he was brought it for the US this time.

Charming gentleman, that Gareth Turner.

Just look how fucking bored HAZE looks sat there! Hahaha.

Isn't that Gareth?

they sound great on this video..oh well, they always sound great

They do, and I have yet to hear this lineup live but from recordings so far I'm not really sold on the way the two bass tones gel. I guess I'm not embracing the rub.

No one has mentioned anything from Three Men and a Baby.  Maybe since it's not a "proper" Melvins release..?

Not gonna lie, I haven't listened to that one all that much. Not because it's not good, it just didn't make the rotation. Definitely a proper Melvins album though.

Melvins Album Discussion / Re: Nude With Boots

Arguably the last great Melvins album to date
So true. I think Bride and Freak Puke could maybe be in the mix, but for a long time, i myself have thought the same.

Right there with you but if you really think about it, Nude had something unique to it that also tied it in perfectly with all of the 90s and 00s output. Perfectly bookending that era, the beginning being Stoner Witch I would say.
