Amazing given the amount of covers over the years that they never did a Captain Beefheart song.
Ive seen buzz say he was a major influence quite often.
I think even terrorizer magazine once described buzz as 'the beefheart of metal'!!

'Big eyed beans from venus'
'Beatles bones n smokin stones'
Or 'trust us' would be legend.

Yes, this^. Maybe something off Doc At The Radar Station, like "Sheriff Of Hong Kong", or "Best Batch Yet".

They would kill "part of your world" from Little Mermaid.  Done anti vermin seed fashion.  Make it barely recognizable.
Is Ian back yet??

scorpions - i'm goin mad
discharge - doomsday
hawkwind - magnu

if they did any of these,  I would be ecstatic...
I guess Clergyman (wherever he is) must be ecstatic.
Bitches of Copacabana also called Black Betty (Ram Jam version) back in 2009.

I noticed earlier in the thread I said doing the Kinks song Rats would be great.  Attitude was even a better choice.

Black Sabbath - Break Out & Swinging the Chain.wmv

^This would rule. Get Skerik to play sax on Breakout, and J.D. Wilkes on harp for Swingin' The Chain.
Yeah, I'm listening to Never Say Die tonight. The whole album is great, and seriously underrated, except for Air Dance. :?

Rock N Roll Machine by Triumph!!!!!! Hell yes!

i think they could really doll up montana by frank zappa

Charlottes web theme

somewhere over the rainbow since theyre such garland fans.

and while were at it, i think they should do an album of fans covers. as in them covering a few songs done by us fans's bands not fans covering melvins. nobodys ever done that before that i know of.

Oscar

I always thought that the chord progression on this one is totally Melvins
