JUST OPENED A SEALED COPY OF STAG AND IT HAS 2 SIDE B LABELS, AND DIFFERENT TRACK ORDER AND THE INSERT LOOKS TO BE A PHOTOCOPY

HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS BEFORE.  ARE ALL THE PRESSINGS LIKE THIS?  WHAT'S THE DEAL?

Stag vinyl was very limited, the story goes that Atlantic only pressed
it once because they planned to drop the Melvins shortly thereafter.
To make up for the limited amount of copies, many deletes and
rejects like yours' found their way into the market. Some of them
had a photocopy insert because the manufacturer ran out of offset
printed inserts, and were too cheap to reprint them. There's also copies
of the vinyl out there with the hole punched off center as well.

okay, so i dont think there are altered tracks.  i listened to side b first because the matrix is written a on side b and b on side a, and both labels are side b.
