 What's the story again on why this is coming out on Sub Pop? Does Buzz/Dale owe someone a favor?  I don't have a problem with SP, just curious. I have supported the label in recent years, buying albums by Pissed Jeans, Mudhoney, Sebadoh, & Sleater-Kinney.

Sub Pop paid for the recording sessions... so the Melvins are probably not allowed to really use those recordings from 15 years ago on another label.  I guess they were able to work something out with the label after all this time and found an interest in finishing the album.

Now, i have no idea why the REASON they were involved with SP in the first place, but whatever, I know it'll be great!
