Our lizards, Cow's Frog, and your cat should start a band man.

Since we all refer to our pets in the past tense, I'm gonna go ahead and call it.
Our pets already have a totally bitchin' band, in heaven. You know, opening for that totally ultimate band of Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Keith Moon..... :bs:

Funny. I read up on the Butthole Surfers on Wikipedia, when they announced last summer that they were touring with Pinkus. There were multiple references to them living in a van, in or near Dallas.

I read up on buttholes and surfing on wikipedia. Very good reading.

Cue Hold It In, which is the best original recording the boys have dropped since 2010's The Bride Screamed Murder. I have no desire to quibble over the merits of the last few Melvins releases. I found them boring. To me the band works best when they're strike the perfect combination of having fun and not trying too hard. Freak Puke had moments, but too few of them. Tres Cabrones was essentially a collection of old material, most of which wasn't that good. Hold It In is a different beast, it's one of those albums where the Melvins are the Melvins and everything clicks.

Tres Cabrones was essentially a collection of old material?!!
Five out of 12 tracks? Three of which were 1 minute long?
Do much research, when you're writing these pithy reviews?
