How could Kevin Ass not be on this?!
He's not in the band?  Just a wild guess...
This looks and sounds like his kind of stuff mang

looks & sounds like my kinda stuff too mang ... intrigued ... been too long since Melvins have done something weird and dark ... COD might be the last to really tread that kinda territory
It was a big night out on the town for the Id and the Reptile Brain ...

POTRE maybe
Charmicarmicat:Bastards

Mount Ambulance

Yeah POTRE certainly walked onto that path tho it was tempered and anchored by song structure ... COD was just so full out; love that release ... love POTRE too tho. Seeing as it's a twofer it'd be cool if one was just too full out warped. Guess we'll see.

Just playing with you.  Totally understand what you're saying.  Kinda hoping the proper album is good heavy rockin Melvins and the soundtrack is a noisy ambient mindfuck.

BERZERKER

DToxico

Yeah, I'm pretty much expecting a more straightforward metal disc paired with some awesome noisy creepy ambient-noise on disc 2 that goes kinda like early industrial. Hopefully Buzz's love of Throbbing Gristle will come out here.

I will contend that Asshole Bastard is one of the best song titles I've ever heard. Makes me think of something a power electronics band started by middle schoolers would come up with and just makes me smile.

QuoteSo I got a copy the other day and I have been listening to it the last couple days.
The soundtracky disc is weird fun and silly.
The "songs" disc is really good. Starts of with two moody slow burners before launching into the ultimate version of "Euthanasia", finally making it onto an album decades afterwards.
The rest of the record is good. It sounds exactly like what these three guys would do together on a full album. And there is some cool groovy seventies rock influence. I mean that in a good way.
The bass playing throughout is really good.
And it really grows on you.
Keep an ear out for the song "Christ Hammer".
I think the kids will like it.

The film looks pretty disturbing and not at all like something I'd like to watch D:
Hopefully the album will be more likable for me.

I hope they play the film during the tour!
I got the shits real bad.
