Literally all I can find is that Melvins played "I Want To Hold Your Hand". And mentions of sound issues on their set and Fantomas (Which there is a clip of it on YouTube and yes the sound issues are there).

His hair went grey pretty quick so suggests he was probably putting a bit of boot polish in it.
