Sept 10 2017 - Paper Tiger - San Antonio, TX

The setlist was about the same as what everyone has said already. I'm surprised they opened with Sacrifice though. Not sure why I'm surprised. I guess because I've never considered it as an "opener" kind of song.

I was able to get right up in front of Steve for the whole show. Wow, does he have energy or what!

A drunk girl was crowd surfing and ended up on center stage with her skirt hiked up to reveal part of her panties. Buzz and Steve kept playing while a stagehand escorted her off the stage. If Pinkus were up there, he would have pushed her back into the crowd like he did to a gal on one previous occasion.

A huge mosh pit started up during Edgar the Elephant for some reason. Go figure.

I loved how Spotlights came out to join the Melvins for the final number. I think it was Hung Bunny/Roman Dog Bird. It's cool how they sandwiched the show with Lysol tracks.

Overall a stellar performance as always.

Thanks for the review! I would be blown away to hear Sacrifice as an opener! They might have done this during the Porn/Big Biz/Melvins shows I went to, it's ringing bells.

There are too few reviews of this tour here. Thanks for making the effort, Topaz.

Hey, my pleasure! Yeah, I would like to see more reviews here as well.

The song that brought down the house was The Bit. Excellent track. Also, I was expecting them to play Revolve, but it didn't happen.

I wish I could have seen them in the Big Biz days. This was only my 4th time to see the Melvins live.
