I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed Melvins didn't come back to Australia on this PAT album cycle.

Hopefully in about a year from now.....

2009, 2013, 2017...so maybe 2021?

*Buzz obviously also came out in 2014 for the acoustic tour. Missed that one though!

Probably a new album out by then and probably no longer the two bass attack.

1997 I think they were the house band on the ABC TV show Recovery and played here at the Tivoli Hotel, I wish I had have gone but I was only a little bit into them at that point. Next time I think was 2001 supporting Tool, then 2003 Ipecac Geek Show tour with Tomahawk & Fantomas.

Then 2009 Fantomas were out here for the BDO & supporting Serj Tankian at a few sideshows with Crover filling in on drums so they decided to squeeze in 3 Melvins shows with Dunn on bass. There was also 2011 when Melvins played at Soundwave then 2013 with Helmet and 2017 with Redd Kross. Plus that Buzz solo tour in 2014.

That's the tours that I know of but might've been some more pre-'97 and in between 2003-09 that I didn't know about. I've only seen them twice on the 2003 & 2017 tours but would've really liked to see this double bass player version.

Oh yeah, I forgot about 2011 and Soundwave.

I didn't include the 90's. Just hoping to figure out a pattern here, I do assume they'll be back in 2021 though!
Hopefully Tool tour Australia with their imminent album or something and bring along Melvins. Could happen!

I don't think there's any rhyme or reason I think they would even come here annually if the money was right just depends what promoters are offering I guess.
