I don't have much pity for the Detroit or Columbus fans here, because western/central NY gets no Melvins whatsoever in 2018  . That's right, the only Melvins show in NY state this year is in New York City, and that might as well be in another time zone as far as I'm concerned. That said I don't mind driving to Cleveland on a Friday. I schedule Vacation days & long weekends around Melvins road trips when necessary.

Glen: gig is still at the same venue, same price, just no JSBX. Big deal, Spencer will probably be back on his own later in the year for you. Sometimes logistics get in the way and things can't line up between bands after promoters throw it out there prematurely. Weird because I know in Buffalo or Rochester, Melvins would pull in way more people than JSBX. That is a fact, because I've seen the venues Spencer has played around here vs. what Melvins have done. Whatever, Melvins want a Thursday night off between Toronto & Cleveland, yet Mohawk Place has no show booked on 5/17.

As for Columbus folks, if you already bought a Melvins tik for 20 something bucks, you will be able to get a refund, as much as that sucks. It's not like you have to hang on to that ticket only to see Melvins moved to an opening slot at a bigger venue. The ticket price w/ Manson headlining has probably now at least doubled, right? I would def sit that one out, having to pay more to see Melvins play a half-hour opening for something as horrible as Manson or the Korn guy.

Bummer. Haven't looked into it but am confused to why it says 8/3 on the side and 8/13 on the bottom. Hopefully that is just a typo. I am trying to scheduel a trip early august to see my family, melvins, and the star wars exhibit at the DIA.

I Stop by the BBS today for absolutely no reason I can think of, and realize I've missed the Toronto Show by a day...I missed a Melvins show...but only by a day...I mean...

Those Two dates hadn't been posted when I checked...they were added on later I guess...it didn't make sense when I saw West coast dates in Canada but nothing for Montreal or Toronto...well there you go.

First time in 18 years. 

I'll see if I can save up and make the Detroit show in August...Maybe flutternuts might take pity on me and let me bribe him for a lift.
