Yesah...Not much of a Battle Plan, Probly Stay at a Hotel...there's a few, If I get lucky I'll wind up at the same one the band is crashing...unless they have common sense and get the fuck out of Detroit. 



So looks like it's either I stay on my side of the border at a hotel, or Try to book something on yer side of the wall.

And always Remember...Detroit Rock City!!!

The Venue itself is Mexico Town Just a Click over the Bridge...so It's pretty close to the Border.

would be slick to have a Hotel party if a few people showed.

I've booked my Train ticket, and the Howard Johnson in Windsor for 2 nights.

It was expensive, and a pain in the ass with a stopover in Toronto.

No refund on the Train ticket, not on your life.

I'll be the first person to say this so you can blame me for calling it if it actually goes like this... but all anyone needs now is for something like Dale to wake up on the wrong side of the Bed the morning of the show and stub his toe off the nightstand or something. Show Cancelled...you know?



That's how this whole thing is hanging in by kids.

Do you know how much this will cost me so far? are you actually curious?

plus maybe Change for something I might buy from a store the day of the show if I make it that far and feel cocky enough to take a stroll through Detroit and see whats up.

Either way, for what the trip is worth to visit a derelict shithole industrial Wasteland like Detroit.. I might as well have seen them in LA or something and flown out there and stayed with a cousin for the week and seen the sights, you know?

Such is not my lot in life, There's a big one with my name on it, It's not going to suck itself.

Dumpy is your hotel in Mexican town? There is loads to do in Detroit and the city has really cleaned up. Unfortunately I doubt you'll have luck w public transportation (the bus system hardly operates) but you should definitely check out cork town and hamtramck

Doubtful I'll have the time looking at the train schedule, it will be really tight as-is.

I'd love to kick around, if I'm lucky there will be enough time for me to get food and a decent coffee, that's about it.

My hotel is situated not near the venue, it's cross the bridge back in Windsor.

Tell me more about hamtramck and cork town, I'm very unenlightened.
