Flipper + Melvins split

This is really good news, hopefully it's something totally new but Melvins playing older Flipper songs would be a treat as well. It will be a 10 inch btw, not sure if that has been mentioned here before, don't think so.

I've seen Flipper with Bruce and Rachel in 2012, and that was great. Apparently Flipper with Yow will be coming over to Europe this summer, Flipper confirmed this on Facebook.. I've heard that Mike Watt will be joining them on bass. Really excited to see them with this lineup.

How many Flipper covers have the melvins released at this point? Five maybe? I'd be happy if they revisit Love Canal but I don't need new versions of Sacrifice or Way of the World. I'm suspicious of Buzz writing new Flipper songs, but only suspicious in that they'd come out as Melvins songs which pleases me.

He's fucking nuts and I say good riddance! Played in a band that opened for Flipper with Krist playing bass and he played just fine and was an overall great guy.

 I Played in a band that opened for Flipper with Krist in SF 2007 in September...look it up. Krist played just fine and Bruce is an ass.

I wish my life was more than just nerding out on a BBS and trying to convince people that analog sounds better than digital. SIGH, I really, REALLY wish I had a friend.
