hoping an LA show gets squeezed in on 4/15.  or better yet, melvins do a headlining gig that night at a small venue.

They should bring that whole bill to Pappy and Harriets and play outdoors!

Got tickets to the Chicago show although I'm thinking of seeing if I can get a refund and go to the Milwaukee show instead.
Hail, not fail.

Got tickets for the Warfield show.  The old lady got them after we decided to make it a full week vacation.  When she told me how much she paid I freaked out a bit but figured everything is just stupid expensive these days.  Then we figured out she got them off a second hand site so they were way inflated.  BUT….they are front row balcony that were completely sold out on the venue ticket site so I was happy.  Inflated ticket prices totally cancelled out because she has so many Hilton rewards points from work travel that we have 5 nights in a nice hotel that is walking distance from the show for less than $100.  Plus I have enough Alaska miles and credit from a canceled trip this year to cover airfare.  I’ll see you there! (if you’re gonna be there and we know who each other are and we actually run into each other 😉 )

This will probably be the first WNY area Melvins show I purposely skip. It's the fact that they're opening for Ministry, plus the tik price. I've seen the Steve lineup 4 or 5 times since 2016, so it's not a big deal to miss this.
There's a good chance now that this tour will get postponed/cancelled AGAIN anyway. States/cities, venues, artists will comply with all the fear-mongering of this new Covid Variation ](*,) Get ready for Shutdown Phaze II.

I thought the same myself earlier today. 2022 may not bring much live Melvins.

A buddy of mine has been getting at me to get tickets asap as he thinks they'll sell out quick.

There is a real chance of postponement at the end of the day, isn't there? All it has to take is one or two people within any of those touring camps to get sick with CO-VID and bam, a band drops off or the dates get canceled.

Yeah, I will not be purchasing any advance concert tickets again because of the ongoing covid threat, and the bullshit you go through with postponements vs. cancellations. Everything from now on will be wait and see; show up day of show if it's on. I'm thinking that for Circle Jerks/Negative Approach.
I read that Primus will be adding some "Farewell To Kings" dates soon in Canada late spring/early summer. There's a good chance they could return to Artpark in Lewiston NY which is on the border. Really hoping for that, since they cancelled Syracuse last year. Artpark's a big enough outdoor venue where it won't sell out.

Ministry takes all the risk of having the tour get cancelled so it's a smart move by the Melvins to sign on for this. Probably some good money too.

I keep thinking about the Down Tour and to a lesser extent the Buzzo Solo show at the Observatory in Santa Anna the same night as Bones Thugs and Harmony. I'm just not sure I can deal with the Ministry and COC fans.

Then there's the "Fix" movie. A bit too "insider" IMO and a complete turn-off to the band for me. The roast chicken scene comes to mind.

I just haven't made up my mind yet.
