yea in fantomas i saw him sport i hink it was a blue SG or G seris. I can't remeber, I don't know my gibsons very well, or any nice guitar for that matter, i dont like drooling over things i can't afford. It was pretty beat up and old lookin. I'm pretty sure during the concert he switched to a sun burst les paul, i've only seen him with fantomas so I'm not sure if thats his regular les paul.

In the Melvins DVD, I saw him use some Transparent guitar, I don't know what it was; but I know I want one.

are those coming back in now? remember when grohl used one for that "djun djun... djun djun djun.... djun djun djun... djun djun djun" song where in the beginning they were walking down a hall with serious looks on their faces?

He has been known to play a Sears Roebuck/Harmony model as well. It was the guitar he used on Gluey Porch Treatments.

To be afraid when you are alone, in the dark, faced with the unknown, the unspeakable; that is understandable fear. To be afraid, mortally afraid, in broad daylight, in a crowded city street, that is to know Melvins.

I don't think that that setup's all too accurate. I'm almost certain that's not what he uses in the studio. Last time I saw him he was playing a black Les Paul through a Boss Delay (dd-3, I think, perhaps dd-6) and a Boss Bass Overdrive (ODB-3) into a Marshall JCM-800 full stack (rented gear, I guess).

All the live shows I've seen with Buzzo, he usually uses Marshall heads and Hiwatt amps. I could be wrong though.

all the times ive seen the melvins buzz used highwat or marshall cabs and sunn heads. a proco rat pedal and other effects. there was a time in the mid 90's when they did the multiple set thing that he played bass and mark played guitar. buzz played a seafoam green or light blue (couldnt tell with the stage lights) fender p-bass. i think buzz may have played a strat in parts of those shows also.                     SUNN 0))
