When i first listened to this i thought i'd been ripped off. It took over a year of listens to finally figure out that this isn't just noise, but it is musical. Its neat how the sounds cool off for a time and then build back up again. The version of eye flys is so insane that it's almost worth the price of the CD alone! I love taking a night cruise and listening to this album in its entirety. When I heard the second track I couldn't stop laughing.

I don't really care for COD, but I respect the Melvins for putting it out. I mean, imagine if THE ROLLING STONES released a CD like that.  That would be pretty funny, actually, to see all hell break loose.

I love this album.  It may not be hard to create noise tracks, but the end result is justified, if you like that sort of thing.  I just kind of wish it was a bit louder and more abrasive, myself.  But hell, that's what fucking around in Native Instruments Reaktor at 3 in the morning at full volume is for.  Not that my neighbors would agree, but fuck 'em.

Wait until you can catch the Melvins live, man. I picked up my copy for a tenner at the recent Geek Show tour...it's an interesting listen at 2 AM with headphones but I always prefer to stick on Stag or Bullhead.

Incidentally, Kevin should have stuck with Korny Ass Joker. Can you imagine all the mallrat kids getting inot the Melvins because of the Korn connection?
