But what would be better is if next tour some of the songs nominated here get put into the setlist!  :D

if they play shitstorm live I'll eat my hat.

Pure Digital Silence
No way! PDS would have secure seat if I ever were to make a best of melvins cd. It`s so refreshing.
Put it this way... the only Melvins "song" I could cover is Pure Digital Silence. Therefore it sucks.

You are very wise hagus667.

Why 667 may I ask? Would 666 be too metal? Too Evil?

And what is wrong with 665?

bUTTHOLEmAN

Because 667 is SUUPER EVIL!  666 plus ONE!

I think the better question is: why hagus?

Is it a reference to the sixth song on Houdini? If so, does the substitution of a first person plural pronoun for the first person singular pronoun indicate a demand for inclusiveness, a rejection of selfishness?

Or is it simply a misspelling of a nasty Scottish cuisine that I refuse to eat? Is hagus667 pretending to be Scottish? That's what this board needs. Another poseur posting comments in a fake Scottish brogue.

I would prefer fake Italian, personally.

I don't like Spread Eagle Beagle.

actually, back when we were trying to name our band, a girl of scottish descent suggested "haggis" as a band name.  after explaining to us what it means, we thought it was a great band name.  we just assumed it was spelled "hagus."  anyway, our spelling looks way better in hard-to-read metal writing:

and I do, in fact, live across the street from the devil.

plus, hagus666 was already taken.

If it's not Hagus, it's Crrap!

on  a related, yet entirely off the thread subject....

is there some sort of unwritten rule that says the harder it is to read your band name the heavier you are?

*see ANY swedish death metal band logo as an example*
