Porn split 7"

Okay, so I'm cataloguing all my records and was going through the discography on this site and for the 'I Like Porn' split 7", it was mentioned that the black vinyl may be a test press. Lo and behold I had a look at my copy and it's black (well, clear back actually). The cover is exactly the same as the regular clear version, there's nothing to indicate it may be a test press.

Is anyone able to give me a bit more info in relation to this?

Also, don't bother asking me if I want to sell or trade it - ain't gonna happen. I'm actually in the process of getting a complete Melvins collection.

i doubt that they would test press on anything other than regular black vinyl, but we are talking melvins.

I think Farty's correct, I don't believe it's a test press.
By 'complete' collection, do you mean all standard releases?

No, I mean everything they've ever put out. It's a big job, but someone's gotta do it.

Also, thanks for the replies. I didn't think it was a test press myself. I've never seen a test press that looks like that. Also, considering I got it when it came out at a record store here in Australia, I doubt they would have sent out test presses like that. But hey, you never know when you're gonna hit the jackpot.
