listened last night, good stuff. I dig that it really focused on the early yrs ... 1.5 hrs. of talking and the Melvins are still in SF ... a part two is a must.

To varying degrees, i've enjoyed all these recent podcasts. However most of the time (as a fan big enough to be on here at least) i find talk about the formation of the band or those earlier years to be a bit boring to me to hear. Same goes for all the Nirvana talk or them mentioning baseball. Personally i ALWAYS just want to hear about their new plans. What is going on at the moment. I know Buzz and co are often somewhat reticent to divulge too many juicy details but i do wish interviewers/podcasters pushed a bit more along those lines than what they do.

This was a great listen.  Really enjoyed Dale's recollection of the early years and he seems to recall it in great detail.

Finally got around to this and I'm most of the way through it. I like hearing some of the reputations the bands had (like RKL and Flipper.) It's funny hearing the host try to inject all this sort of modern punk reverence and Dale just doesn't have the context for it. I'm curious if Dale listens to anything on Fat or Epitaph even though he's technically in 2.5 punk bands at any given time.
