They didn't even sell them at the show.  I really wanted to buy it.  They only had this one:

There's never a guarantee that all dates are filled on any series. We do what we can (and what the artists can).

tell me this, oh swampiest of vikings:

who drops the ball there? I mean...  how does this get fucked up and on a fairly consistant basis?  how do the posters not make it to the venues when there is normally at least 2 months of prep time?  is this something I could have helped in say-for-example detroit where the posters never showed?  like maybe I could have delivered and-or recieved them and personally saw to it that they got to the venue.

its just slightly baffling that a date is set 2 months or more in advance and the posters still don't make it. somebody is missing out on some $ there.  MELVINS, artists, fans... everybody loses.

the detroit natives were hostile and in full demand mode for those posters. dollar bills waving in the air.   its a damn shame.

It's pretty simple: some artists are procrastinators and some are just really busy with other projects. It's not that often that posters don't make shows, and at times there are things that come that prevent them from finishing the projects. They're human. They have families.  We keep track of who is reliable and who isn't. Also, keep in mind that we have a ton more going on that setting up these poster series.

As far as the Detroit poster - I don't think we ever had an artist that wanted to take the date, so there wasn't ever one planned on being made. It wasn't an issue of 'the poster didn't make the show'. If you know of a poster that an artist is selling for this (or any) show that didn't appear at the show, feel free to contact me about it. I would actually like to know.
