Thanks for the updates; it's interesting to see the significant difference between the European artists and the American artists.  American artists seem to often follow the Warhol/Kozik method of poster making, while European artists seem to have a strong sexual side to their posters.   Oh yeah, does armyofcats REALLY need to have their website name as big as the second and opening act name?  :?

With the exception of John Howard (the owl poster) - and the Forbes collab - the entire european series is european artists.

That's what I mean; comparing the American series to the European series.

Yeah, I got that. I was just commenting on this series.

Poster art is just getting popular in Europe. There are a lot of good artists there.

Yeah, they never have posters like these in Amsterdam. It's either hand made xerox art flyers or posters with a default desig, as used by the venue.

In L.A. you really don't see posters like that either; you see mainly rave/hip hop ads wheat pasted around that consist mainly of block text.  These are really just forms of merch.  I can recall seeing one poster by Grealish advertising an upcoming Throwrag show..but that's about it.

The Howard poster is fucking awesome.  Thanks for posting it.
Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt.
