Had a another COD listen last night. Every time i go back to this record i think i like and appreciate it more and more!! I never thought i would say that. It's a GOOD record! I'm glad it exists. I guess like any "difficult" album, it reveals itself more over time. I might listen to it again tonight! I am amazed how much sexual stuff or perhaps porn samples are in this thing. It feels like it is pretty much throughout. Sometimes obvious, sometimes stretched and made to sound like something else. I still wish this had been the 3rd release of the Trilogy instead of The Crybaby. I'm tempted to say this is a 9/10 record!!! When i first heard it i would have probably rated it a 2/10!!!

That chromatic descending guitar sample... Guess it could be any cassette recording of someone noodling on a guitar in their bedroom. But to me it sounds so much like a Kurt Cobain home demo.

Currently breaking out COD on the headphones yet again! I like this one because you can just drift off and not really focus on it too much until the end starts building into Eye Flys. That's what is most appealing to me. If it was just noise all throughout i don't think i would appreciate it anywhere near as much.

I REALLY wish there was some footage or photos that existed from this show. I'm always curious to see how the line-up was arranged. To see what gear they had on stage. Dale on stuff other than drums! Has Buzz or Dale ever spoken about what they planned with COD? Did they go into the show fully wishing to put this out as an album?

Yeah I'm also curious how it was recorded. Did they multitrack it? Are there any mistakes that were edited out? Or is it just like a straight soundboard two channel mixdown?
