Are the Melvins playing this show or what? I don't think they've even announced it on their official yet. Patton will be there. Strange.

Seems like a joke, if only because Chris Cornell/Soundgarden seem more to me like someone Buzz would spend years straight complaining about unprompted in interviews rather than paying tribute to, but we've obviously been surprised before.

It would be cool if Ryan Adams could get to meet them and ask them about Bladerunner.  :D

Knowing Pinkus, it sounds like one of his jokes.  But you never know.

saw them 2 nights ago in a much smaller club than last summer and I thought they were much tighter as a 4 man band with 2 basses and had worked out a lot of the kinks. both Pinkus and Steven were playing fills and especially Steven on harmony parts that were mind blowing and smoother in their delivery since last time. I won't mind if and when they go back to one bass, but i'm glad I got to see this line up twice now. same as how the two drummer lineup got better as they toured more together. that's why I prefer Nude With Boots or (A)SA. they were playing off each other and anticipating where to deviate from playing everything the same at the same time.

yeah, i think seeing them live can give you a better perspective than watching a low quality cell video.

How can I book the boys for Chattanooga, TN? There are enough lame stoner doom bands in the area, so I'm sure it'd be a sellout show. High on Fire packed our now-defunct Revelry Room in 2015

Selfish reasoning though, since they'd undoubtedly do better in Knoxville or Nashville. I just dig the idea of driving only 20 minutes to see Melvins, as opposed to the usual 90 minute trek to ATL
