like to the see the Melvins collaborate with?
I was thinking about this, and I would love to see them collaborate with Gibby Haynes.
Who knows what kind of weird/spectacular music could come from this.
It would be amazing.

it seems like collaborations have been keeping the melvins creativity going and going.
you wouldn't want the melvins to die, would you?
I know you can think of someone you'd like to see them with, my hispanic friend...
kevin rutmanis
I cant wait to hear the Big business thing.
But Im really missing the lost Kunka record...
It IS someplace...
I'd like to see a collaboration between Matt Groening and Melvins. Do a little Gorillaz type thing.
I've said this before, I'd love to hear them as a 3 pc with Bootsy on the bass; sludge funk
yeah, melvins with old butthole surfers! that sure would be something!

It's about time the Melvins made an appearance on the Simpsons.
I made this last year:

haha
My vote is to see the Melvins join forces with Il Divo. Wow. 4 hot studs crooning to the backdrop of sludginess. Then at the end of the show, Dale and Buzz would headfake these dudes with a handshake and punch them in the spleen. Then tape their heads to an amp stack and blare a 76 minute rendition of Boris into their ears - which would ultimately result in them blowing up due to sheer awesomeness. The DVD version would rule.
Just kidding, I'm all for Butthole frontman Haynes joining the mix. If that happened, we'd have a new Wikipedia sub-genre called Acid Sludge. There might just be too much weirdness in a Haynes/Melvins collaboration. Any hint of sanity would be punched in the face and eaten.
i wanna see the melvins and sonic youth try and come up with something.... that would be pretty out there.....
it might not work though...
BLACK DICE
WEEN! Seriously, imagine that. I very much can't see it ever happening though.

Tom Waits
I don't get this guy. He sounds like the cookie monster.
LYDIA LUNCH !
Melvins and Bobby McFerrin. Would be an interesting album.
I like the Gibby idea and think it might be even cooler if the Melvins did something with all the Surfers. I also would like to see a Melvins/Ministry split.

the simpsons are way too lame for the melvins. matt groening has bad taste. i mean come on, REM? i know sonic youth was on there too in some capacity, but the REM thing just throws me off. they had some other horrible band on there too once. oh, wasn't U2 on there???//
really? you're gonna pick REM as the worst band to be on the simpsons?
i like REM, well, respect them.
one of those 'Pop' bands you dig somewhat.
I don't watch the simpsons, but I know a lot of (what can be labeled as) more shitty bands that could be put before REM, I remember a lot worst talents on there...
Well I thought Buzz and Dale were fans of the Simpsons. I was not suggesting putting them on a Simpsons show I was saying they could do a Gorillaz type album/video. But nah, that would be "lame".
i don't mind R.E.M.!
nor simpsons!!
Buckethead.
earth crisis
or
grief
Massive Attack
Another Crybaby type release or a POTRE/Jelvins collaboration?
I would like to see Blood Bliss and the Melvins join forces again.
I still have to go with Ween, could you imagine a duo deaner/buzzo on guitar crover/coleman on drums doing The Golden Eel?
Davros or Motorhead
whoever said Lydia Lunch...... that would be a good combination... it would be something like they all must be slaughtered and the man with the laughing hand
John Zorn.
Melvins with The Mars Volta: The Mervins Volta

now that would be really great.
alice cooper now or 1972?
Hmm, melvs with the mars volta. I don't know if i like the sound of that. Mars Volta are probally one of my most hated bands. But each to his own i guess.

Didn't they make a little fun of them though, with a lentyl turkey or something. And Bono was all preachy with his little "The man is talking about waste managment" speech.
They also had the Who on there if I remember correctly.

Isn't he dead?
yeah, but thats why he should return!
In keeping with the novelty pseudo political Jello Biafra/Melvins collaboration. A Melvins/Atari Teenage Riot collab. would be interesting to hear. Hannin Elias has a great voice.

haha, fair enough. :D
I remember an interview with buzz a long ass time ago when Tricky was doing some kick ass trip hop ,and Buzz saying he dug that ish.I saw someone go for Massive Attack, close as far as the Melvins meet trip hop, but i'll say Tricky and the Melvins. And really though Tom Waits and Tricky sound pretty similar ,so either one will do.
roger, what a funny name :o
Roger? Roger Dodger?
