What happened to Kevin? Seriously, I want some VALID info here! Lets do this shall we? If ANYONE here has any quotes from Buzz, Dale, Kevin himself, Altamont, Mackie, or any very personal friends of theirs about the particular subject then please do quote it here and by whom.
I seriously wanna cry my eyes out. I'd been waiting and waiting ever since I saw their 20th anniversary tour, and I wanted to go see them in SF their next tour or show, and when they canceled the tour and I got a call from tickets.com saying they are going to refund my money, its just...unbelieable. The truth hurts man! Kevin was the best they had in my opinion!

I mean...I assumed that Kevin went nuts or something for a hopeful short period of time thereafter or something. Did he check into a mental institution? I think I'm going to have to check myself in too! This is some serious mind boggling shit. This is an outrage seriously like...we need to sacrifice 1000 virgins and an lamb. Assassinate a porn star or something. God is angry with us or something. Please God, make it stop! I'll never sodomize ever again!

I just hope people are saying hes out as in, hes out but hes only out because hes in a straight jacket. I mean if there was something going on, like drama. Undoubtly, I'd going to have to say it was Crover if thats the case.

I personally favor Adam Jones. Despite hes in Tool. I don't think its much of a problem. They come out with an album every like....what? 5 years?

I have the upmost faith in Buzz and Dale's ability to choose the right man for the next leg of the Melvins journey.   I have enjoyed each period they have had and each bassist as well. If I had my pick I would stick david W. Simms with em for a day and see how that went, but I know that won't happen, so I am not even worrying.

yeah, seriously.....a couple of folks on this board are ready to end their lives  over this.  Im sure some reacted the same way when Lukin, Lorax, Joe, and Mark were kicked out.  Personally, after they went through the 4th bassist, i dont see how you couldnt see it coming and i figured it was only a matter of time.   Lets face it, Buzz isnt exactly the most laid-back individual.

maybe buzz already didn't like these people and he gave excuses like "drugs" or "lazy" when it wasn't really a big deal.
its fine with me though, if that's what buzz needs to do to keep a tight ship, that's fine with me! (i did like kevin a lot though)

i think they ditched Mark (or was that lukin?) when they moved.  i remember reading something buzz said about them moving and not telling the bass player.  they knew he wouldn't come so they left and then invited him, but he said no (as planned).
