I just bought a used Melvins "STAG" cd and on the front cover it says in Gold print, "For Promotional Use Only. Sale or other transfer is prohibited. Must be returned on demand of recording company." I also have a Cure "bloodflowers" cd that says the same thing. Does that mean that it is the first pressing or what? I also have the stag "the bit" singles, and supposedly, it was never released to the public, but I bought mine from someone who got it from a radio station years ago.

Stag is out of print. I called a record store in Atlanta about a month ago trying to find it and they said that Electroretard,and Stag were out of print.

Its something about skin horse that always just made me want to tear up. Mainly the first half.
Theres alot of heart and power put into the song. Everyone is giving everything they got, it really shows. No doubt, in my mind, one of the most beutiful songs ever.

If you open up the c/d booklet there is a picture of a bull's head.

At the very bottom something is written.

I cannot see this even with reading glasses.

To make this fun I will try to guess what is says:

1) copyright of some of the artwork that Mackie used.

2) copywrite of a song Melvins used as inspiration, or a part of.

3) a poignant line from one of the songs

4) admission of guilt to a felony

5) secret Melvins clubhouse handshake
