Saw them on that tour in Salt Lake City, my third rock show ever. Buzz played with his back turned to the audience the whole time, don't remember anything else about them. I was there to see Primus and quite enjoyed them.

Recently I read the "Over the electric grapevine" oral histroy book about Primus, and Buzz is in it quite a bit. He praises their weirdness and musicianship, also  says his favorite song from them is "My name is mud".

why don't you do the research yourself on e-bay completed listings?
pretty pathetic when people are lazy or dumb.. 8)

I searched a couple days ago (including completed listings) and only found one for $150 and it seemed a bit much..

Hello, a question:

What's the going rate of the Residency CDs? I have the one for Austin and I might sell them on Ebay.

I don't think that show is happening. The date that is listed here (http://mx.5gig.com/lunario-auditorio-nacional-venues-55776) is oddly on the same date as the one last year and with the same opening band as last year in the same place. Someone made a mistake.

Hi there!

Does anyone know if the Melvins 13-CD Box Set comes with all original CDs leaflets/artwork or only with three of them (hostile ambient takeover, mangled demos and houdini live)???

Thanks!

Mine only has those three you mentioned. A little disappointing, since I only already owned 7 of those 13 CDs. Great artwork anyway....

what kind of scumbag would ask a hyper-inflated price for a MELVINS recording or object?
i agree thats why when i was the first to see the thread on amrep i decided not to get another copy to flip and instead leave them for other people to have the chance. ive got one copy for myself and thats all i need.
pinkys ebay feedback shows 3 sold already, and the one she sold me makes 4 and she must have a personal copy so 5 already, thats a scumbag.

I wouldn't call her a scumbag. I think she is just a good capitalist that is providing a service that people obviously want.

Too true.
Capitalism...it's the American way

The truth is that is a great way of making money providing a service. She has a way of getting these CDs and takes advantage of the opportunity, there's nothing wrong with that. She's into making money and I am sure you all are into the same thing. If you don't want to support her, don't buy from her, but I am sure there are many people that will (or had in the past).

I think the Melvins should think a way of selling these things directly to fans online through some kind of pre-order thing, as some have said before. Selling these things only at shows or at really small amounts (15 or so) online, will guarantee that some of these CDs will end up selling in Ebay at high prices. It's cool that the Melvins make money off these CDs by selling to whoever gets the chance, but I would appreciate a little more concern for the hardcore fans.
