im driving up i-75 to get to the show as early as possible. im meeting Glen from the board there and he said the 1st band plays when the doors open. so im hurrying. i get half way there and realize my ticket is stuck on my fridge by a magnet. i need that ticket to get in the concert or im paying $35 total. not good. so i go back , tell my wife i changed my mind and that im not going to the show. she shows a little sign of happyness then i say "im kidding". shes frowns.

i get to the venue. oder a $4 dollar High Life. I drink nothing else in the city.
im leaning on a pillar. Two guys approach me. The guy in a black shirt asks "does howdy doody have wooden balls?" i say you must be Glen.

Had a good time hanging out with Glen and his friend.
talking melvins. you kinow ive talked melvins over the years to the point where im sick of it, but when you meet someone new it kinda gets refreshed.

the melvins merch table had nothing for 30 something dads. shirts were all hokey. i almost bought the octopus one.

porn played. ale as you know played in an Elvins cotume. very slow sludgy stoner shit with a bit of humor. IM the guy who yelled out "Slow Down!" between a song break.

once Ghost Digital played , in the state of mind that i was in(thanks to glen and ray) i had to get the fuck out of there. They made me see red.

I feel im pretty open minded to noise. I love Kid606 and meltbanana as far as noise goes but my god i couldnt take it. am i old?

I ran into Jared from Karp and told him that i was happy for him joioning the melvins and he seemed to appreciate that.

BB played opened with my favorite song of theirs track 2 off the 2nd tour ep. then an unknown song after 3 or 4 songs Dale came out and played lead guitar over bb songs and its added som much to the sound  that once he left the stage the bb songs without him really seemed to lack in heavyness.

I was impressed with Jared bass work.

the opening track to the melvins set ruled my world. dimeadozen has a show form 9-24 soundboard  i must reccomend.
the melvins set was fantastic. very satisfying. so satisfying to the point where i will probably never see the Melvins again. Unless its this line up. i just dont think they ever perform this good again. hopefully they put a dvd or something out with this tour cuz its truly amazing.

set consisted of a lot of new stuff which i think is great. the played The Bit and it fucking conquered the incas and the mayans in one battle. very conquistadoian like.

anyone who is on the fence about wether or not they should check out this tour should deffinately go and and sit on the fence another time.

sorry from grammer and typos i dont look at the screen when i type.

One of the funniest review I've read so far, good job. And no, it was hardly helpful, but very entertaining. And I too recommend that soundbaord recording from the 9/24 show, it's so good.

So you met Glen and Gay Ray.  I think you misquoted the phrase, 'I smell like doody, can I see your wooden balls?'

Ask ArmorInfant to tell the story of the time he gave his baby a shot of Jagermeister while having a 'Back In Black' party, and then proceeded to paint his baby up with his wife's makeup, so that the baby looked like peter criss.
